Primary Care Services
Our primary care services encompass a wide range of medical needs. In addition to our specialty services, such as pediatrics, dental care, and mental health counseling, we offer the following healthcare services to men and women in Central Mississippi:

COVID-19 Vaccinations
At G.A. Carmichael Family Health Center, we take COVID-19 very seriously. For this reason, we are proud to offer vaccinations to men and women in Canton, Belzoni, Yazoo, Madison, or Humphreys County, and the neighboring communities in Central Mississippi. In addition to COVID-19 vaccinations, we are also happy to provide vaccination boosters to ensure our patients continue to remain protected.
Your COVID-19 vaccine may be accompanied by some temporary side effects, including soreness and tenderness at the injection site, fever, headaches, and fatigue. If you experience these side effects, do not be alarmed. However, if these side effects do not subside after a few days, we encourage you to speak with your primary care provider.
COVID-19 Treatment & Prevention
If you have tested positive for COVID-19, treatment is now available. The medications prescribed to treat COVID-19 may vary from person to person depending on their symptoms.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, we encourage our patients to wash their hands regularly for a full two minutes, and to sanitize public surfaces before using them. We also encourage our at-risk patients to wear a mask in high-traffic outside areas, as well as when indoors in public locations.
