Dr. Romero Midgett, a board-certified OB/GYN, will join G.A. Carmichael Family Health Center in Canton on July 8, 2024. Dr. Midgett is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care while respecting each patient’s unique journey.

Dr. Midgett is a native of Detroit, MI. Having completed his undergraduate degree at Wayne State University, he subsequently completed his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Midgett completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, and he received his obstetrical and gynecological clinical training at the Regional Medical Center (The Med) in Memphis, TN.

In addition to being board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, he is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Midgett is an established and highly skilled physician with over 25 years of extensive experience in obstetrics, gynecology, and minimally invasive surgery. His commitment to women’s health and comprehensive care has made him a trusted provider in the field.

During his spare time, he enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Dr. Midgett is affiliated with Merit Health Madison, Merit Health Central, and Merit Health River Regions hospitals.
